We are Edward and Avery. We are on a continuous pursuit to deepen our knowledge of the edible world around us and to understand plant life cycles thus knowing how to capture plant foods at their best.
We are obsessed with well sourced, flavorful and nourishing ingredients which is why we started Thalli. After working as professional foragers in Kent, England - Edward for five years, Avery for two - we decided it was time to take all that we had learned from Forager Ltd. and bring it to Ithaca, NY.
Gathering food from the wild is an age old tradition which we are seeking to incorporate into the modern lifestyle. Wild plants are a self-sustaining food resource and their importance for the nutrition of the planet will become ever more obvious as we progress into the future. Considerate management of this resource will contribute to the health and wellbeing of our planet and ourselves.
Not everyone has the time or the expertise to find their own food. We’re here to provide you with the delicious and nutrient dense wild plants that we love to eat. It is our aim to get wild food onto everyone's dinner table.
