Water Mint (Mentha aquatica) A cooling, light and sweet wild mint. Broken into smaller pieces and sparingly tossed through a salad, these leaves bring a welcome aroma to a salad (it’s hard to imagine that mint could be so well placed in a humble salad). If that doesn’t float your boat then this mint makes a mighty fine cup of tea which can be cooled and poured over ice for a refreshing drink during warm weather.
Water mint dries exceptionally well, retaining its flavor for an indefinite period. An important winter ingredient with an uplifting aroma.
